TULSA — Even though it was a non-District C-4 contest, the Arkoma Mustangs won for the second straight week as they handled Eagle Point Academy 46-16 Friday night at Hicks Field.
“It was 27-0 at the end of the first quarter, and we kind of shut it down from there and cruised on,” said Mark Weatherton, Arkoma's coach.
HARTSHORNE — In what was supposed to be the best match-up of Friday night's District 2A-6 games, it did not turn out that way. The homestanding Hartshorne Miners struck a gold mine as they blanked the Pocola Indians 40-0.
