Christmas break has started, and I am ready for a hunting trip. Several of my buddies are heading to my lease in Clayton to do some bow hunting and camping.
It is going to be a good time, and, hopefully, some good hunting. The weather is going to be a little warm until this weekend, and then it is supposed to cool off again.
This is the time of year when the bucks should be chasing the does around that are coming into estrous for the second rut. I have heard some hunters talking about seeing bucks on the move in the last few days.
