MORRIS — The Eastern Oklahoma Riverdawgs Major American Legion baseball team suffered a heartbreaking 6-5 loss in 10 innings to Okmulgee Wednesday night.
After Spiro's Slater Dunn hit an RBI fielder's choice to score Cameron's Dale Pearson in the eighth inning to tie the game at 5-5, the host team broke the tie in the 10th inning on an error.
The 15th annual Poteau Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. June 25 at Wolf Ridge Golf Course.
Lunch and check-in will begin at noon June 25.
The entry fee is $65 per person or $130 per two-player team. Two mulligans will be available for $10, with a limit of four per team.

There will be an age 12-and-younger girls softball tournament June 23 at Cameron.
The entry fee is $100 per team. First- through third-place teams will receive medals.
