CATOOSA — Monday was a fun day for Addie Guthrie, and somewhat of a sneak preview, too.
The recent Poteau High School graduate and standout golfer got to play one last round of her prep career on Monday's All-State Golf Tournament at Cherokee Hills Golf Course.
Guthrie, who played alongside Bristow's Kayla Schroeder for the East Team, finished in a 2-2 tie with West duo Sarah Delong of Elgin and Bailey McCann of Anadarko in a Ryder Cup style scoring format.
The Rogers State University-bound player, who is joining the team as a walk-on, enjoyed her experience at All-State.
Carl Albert State College Assistant Softball Coach Megan Young will give softball lessons at $25 per hour to girls up through age 18.
