I got back from Durant at 2 a.m. Saturday after going to the Poteau football season opener.

I have not failed to watch an OU football on TV for the last five years, but I really can not get enthused on spending $39.95 to watch this Staurday's OU-Florida A&M game on pay-per-view. Robert Swinford was the Week 1 winner of the Poteau Daily News’ Pigskin Picks contest.
Swinford successfully picked 11 out of 12 winners to win the $25 prize.
The contest ballot runs every Saturday during the contest period. Winners will be announced weekly on the Pigskin Picks page.
This week's picks are due by 5 p.m. today since the Dallas Cowboys' season opener against the New York Giants takes place tonight.
The form was in Saturday's edition of The Poteau Daily News.
