The Carl Albert State College softball team had its road doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Independence, Kan., canceled, with no make-up date scheduled.
The Lady Vikings will return to action this afternoon as they will make up the home doubleheader with Crowder, Mo., beginning at noon.
Then, Carl Albert will play in this weekend's Murray State College Festival Friday and Saturday at the Johnston County Sports Complex in Tishomingo.
After taking two games from the Coffeyville (Kan.) Junior College Ravens Tuesday afternoon at their place, the Carl Albert State College Vikings did likewise to them Wednesday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field by scores of 4-1 and 3-2.
The Vikings will hit the road to Texas this weekend. The Vikings will have a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday against Tyler, Texas, then a single, nine-inning game against Northeast Texas in Mount Pleasant, Texas, at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

Wister's Cody Luman scored a basket as time expired as the Wildcats downed the Howe Lions 42-41 to win the district title.
The girls' title game did not have such a suspenseful ending as the Lady Lions roared right past the Lady Wildcats 74-36 to win the district championship.
