Poteau Lady Pirates softball physicals will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Hometown Drug Walk-In Clinic.
Cost is $15 cash per player.
The forms for players to fill out will be located at the clinic.

There will be a Poteau Bandit League practice at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the practice field, just south of the fieldhouse at Costner Stadium.

The Wolf Pups Football sign-ups will take place at 6 p.m. July 30 inside the Heavener High School cafeteria.
The program is for third- through sixth-grade individuals.

The Heavener Wolves Youth Football Camp will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Harvey Stadium.
The camp is for players who are entering third through sixth grades.
Cost is $20 per camper.

Tuskahoma Labor Day Festival events slated Aug. 30-Sept. 1

TUSKAHOMA — There will be several events taking place for this year's Tuskahoma Labor Day Festival, which will be Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
For the basketball lovers, there will be 3-on-3 basketball tournaments on Aug. 31 for all men's, women's and coed teams.
There will be three divisions of four-man roster teams, with the divisions being ages 18-and-older in the women's division, a “young guns” division for men ages 18 to 35 and a “old timers” division for ages 36 and older.

Lady Vikings' Brown takes long-range shooting to Campbell

Carl Albert State College Lady Viking D. Brown,  a 5-3 sophomore shooting/point guard from Norman signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the next two years with Campbell University, which is an NCAA Division I school. The Camels are a member of the Big South Conference, located in Buies Creek, N.C.
CASC women's coach Jeff Tadtman is excited for Brown to get the opportunity to play at the Division I level.
