There will be one thing for sure when Spiro's football team travels to meet Muldrow in a 7:30 p.m. contest tonight. The Bulldogs will get their first win of the season. The only question which won't be answered until about late news time tonight is which Bulldogs.
Spiro (0-1) is coming off a 32-14 loss to the Vian Wolverines in a game which was close for about a half.
Things could not have started much better than they did for the Talihina Golden Tigers football team Friday night as they blasted the Wilburton Diggers 70-22 at Doc Robinson Stadium in the season opener.
â€śWe were awesome on offense,â€ť Talihina coach Kelly Gravitt said. â€śWe made our blocking assingments. We were physical and got after it. Our defense was sound. They did a great job, and it was a great opener. They didn't look like it was a Week 1 game. They looked sharp. It was a good game for us.â€ť
On Sept. 5, I went to Dr. Scott Clark's office to get some lab work done to make sure I'm in peak condition.
I was out in the parking lot, and I was looking at this nice ol' 1983 Kingfisher bass boat that was parked in the lot. It looked brand spanking new. I couldn't believe how new it looked. I was rubbing my hand across the carpet in a daze when I walked into Mike Sullivan, who said, â€śIsn't that a nice one? I used to have one just like her!â€ť
