ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Poteau Pirates ended their Spring Break baseball trip in Florida with two losses, falling 5-4 in eight innings to Poly Prep, N.Y., and 12-7 to IMC Academy.
Byng 4, Spiro 1: In Spiro, the Pirates, who trailed 1-0 after five innings scored twice in the sixth and seventh innings to get the come-from-behind win.
Red Oak 17, Wister 0; Rattan 16, Wister 0: In the Red Oak Festival, the Wildcats suffered two lopsided losses.

Panama boys handle Howe, rally past Stigler; Lions beat Bokoshe

CAMERON — The Panama Razorbacks baseball team won twice on the opening day of the Cameron Spring Break Festival, and did so in diverse fashions.
The Razorbacks run ruled the Howe Lions 18-0, then had to rally to down the Stigler Panthers 11-10 in eight innings.
The Lions went 1-1 on the day, downing Bokoshe 9-1 in the first game on the diamond for the Tigers since 2012.

Pocola beats Seminole, Stilwell in Spring Break Festival games

POCOLA — The Pocola Indians kept their unbeaten record intact Wednesday as they picked up a pair of wins at their site of the Cameron Spring Break Festival. The Indians outlasted the Seminole Chieftains 12-11 then blanked the Stilwell Indians 5-0.
