The 2014 Poteau High School track awards banquet took place Wednesday night at Western Sizzlin' with several athletes getting special recognition for this season's accomplishments.
WILBURTON â€” Eastern Oklahoma State College will host the 42nd annual Kiamichi All-Star Classic sports competition tonight and Saturday. Area high school players will compete for either the North or South teams in basketball, softball and baseball.
The Kiamichi All-Star Classic will begin tonight with girls' basketball at 6:30 p.m., followed by boys' basketball at 8 p.m. in the Claud C. Dunlap Field House.
The softball game is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by baseball at 3 p.m.

42nd Kiamichi All-Star Classic Rosters
Just like in the Civil War, the North beat the South. However, in the case of Tuesday night's 2014 LeFlore County Basketball Coaches Association's All-Star Games at Carl Albert State College's Mick Thompson Fieldhouse, it happened not once but twice.
The North All-Star Boys handled the South 70-42, right after the North Girls held off the South 48-43.
The Spiro Basketball Camp will take place later this month inside the Spiro Multipurpose Gym.
The elementary school camp will be from Tuesday through next Thursday and is open to students entering kindergarten through fifth grade next school year. The camp for kindergarten through second grade will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m., while the camp for grades three through five will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per camper.
