Despite having five double-figure scorers, it wasn't enough as the Carl Albert State College Vikings lost 101-81 to Dallas Diesel in the third and final day of the Midwest Scouting Service Challenge on SundayÂ afternoon in Plano, Texas.
A strong first half offensively and a 52-39 lead at halftime proved to be the difference for Midland, Texas, in its 92-81 win over the Vikings on Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings will play their home opener against the Bacone College junior varsity at 8 p.m. Thursday at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse to celebrate homecoming.
Fort Smith [Ark.] Trinity Junior Highâ€™s team consists of eighth- and ninth-grade players. The Pirates had both their teams suited out. Both sides agreed to match respective teams, but in all reality that never happened in Thursdayâ€™s season finale in Fort Smith. The Pirates won the game 20-14.

BOKOSHE â€” After winning the first District C-4 game in more than four years last week, the Bokoshe Tigers were trying for two straight wins, and celebrate Senior Night in a grand fashion. Unfortunately, it didn't happen as the Webbers Falls Warriors came to town and left Tiger Stadium with a 42-20 win.
CANADIAN â€” The Arkoma Mustangs almost snapped their seven-game losing streak, but the key word was almost.
The Mustangs suffered their eighth straight loss, dropping a 26-20 decision to the Canadian Cougars on Friday night in District B-4 action.
Panama had no problems with its offense as it rolled over Liberty in a 39-0 romp Friday night at Liberty High School, located east of Mounds.
WILBURTON â€” The Pocola Indians snapped their two-game losing streak with a 34-20 road win over the Wilburton Diggers.
HEAVENER â€” After one quarter, the Heavener Wolves were right with Class 3A's sixth-ranked Beggs Golden Demons. However, from there it was all Golden Demons as they downed the Wolves 44-6 Friday night at Harvey Stadium.
