September 26, 2014

“We’re looking forward to it,” Spiro coach Chris Bunch said. “It’s a big game. I expect a packed house. It’s our first district game. A loss will probably make you end up second or third, maybe fourth. We can’t afford to have a loss.”
The Bulldogs have beaten Stilwell (47-40), Muldrow (35-14) and Haskell (42-28). Still, Bunch believes his team has yet to put it all together.

“It was a big ball game,” Talihina coach Kelly Gravitt said. “We were down at halftime. Our kids never quit or gave up. It was like a heavyweight fight. They hit us in the mouth, and we hit them in the mouth. We had a couple of turnovers in the first half, but we came out in the second half and took care of the ball — and that was the difference in the game. I’m proud of them.”
