September 15, 2012

Garett Ford, 17, of Hartford, Ark., has passionately been playing the game of golf for more than half his life. Each year, he has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with on the green.

Heavener hopes for happy homecoming win over Gore tonight

September 14, 2012

The Heavener Wolves football team is hoping for happy homecoming tonight when it entertains the Gore Pirates at 7:30 p.m. at Harvey Stadium. Homecoming festivities will begin at 7 p.m.
Carl Lee, Heavener's first-year coach, is hoping that the players do not get too caught up in homecoming and forget about the Pirates.
“We're trying to keep it as even keel as we can,” Lee said. “It's just another ball game. If we take care of business, we'll be all right. We need to enjoy homecoming, but we still have to focus on the game.”
