The Two Jodys at Arkansas Children's Hospital's 5k run

June 6, 2014

We went to the Arkansas Chidlren's Hospital's 5k run Saturday at the Janet Huckabee Center at Chaffee Crossing in Barling. Sam's Wholesale Club sponsored the event, and there was all kinds of gifts given away.
The run began at 7 p.m., and it was hot and muggy to say the least. The only thing that saved me was that there was a good south wind blowing that helped me stay cool.
After the race, I went back and visited with all the sponsor's associates and all the runners until they figured out everybody's times so they could be announced during the awards ceremony.
