Two wins in a row for Thompson in PDN’s Pigskin Picks Contest

January 24, 2015

After not always taking a chance in the Poteau Daily News’ Pigskin Picks Contest, Tobey Thompson got his second straight win in as many weeks.
He was one of several who picked both National Football League playoff games correctly, predicting Seattle would beat Green Bay in the NFC Championship and New England would defeat Indianapolis in the AFC Championship. However, Thompson won the tiebreaker, which was predicting the final score of the NFC Championship. He only missed the actual final score of the NFC Championship by six points. Seattle rallied to down Green Bay 28-22 in overtime.
