OKLAHOMA CITY — As the Oklahoma City Thunder begin their seventh season here in Oklahoma, there are many expectations on this year’s team. After reaching the National Basketball Association Finals in 2012, the past two years have ended earlier in the playoffs than was anticipated. Injuries have played a huge part in those failings in the postseason, but no one will remember those injuries, just that the Thunder failed to reach the Finals once again.
The Poteau Youth Wrestling practices have started.
Open wrestlers will practice from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays.
The organization’s own tournament will be Nov. 8 at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse.
