None of that is going to happen now as they suffered a 43-28 loss to the Checotah Wildcats on Friday night at Ogle Field to see their eight-game winning streak snapped.
The loss ended up putting the ’Dogs (8-2, 6-1) as the third-seeded team from the district, meaning a road game against the Hilldale Hornets at 7:30 p.m. next Friday to begin the Class 3A playoffs.

There will be five LeFlore County high school football teams make the postseason parade next week.
As I wrote this, two of them — Poteau (Class 4A) and Talihina (Class A) — will be home. Panama (Class 2A) will visit Okemah, while it was uncertain until late Friday night not only who but where Spiro (Class 3A) and Arkoma (Class C) would wind up in the playoffs.
