The newest bull to be placed on display in Poteau was the patriotic Angus sponsored by The Community State Bank. The newest addition to the bank was placed on the north side of the main branch Tuesday morning. Crews work to install lighting for nighttime viewing of the statue.

The National Weather Service warned LeFlore County residents to brace for another possible riot of storms and flash flooding Thursday evening and today.
Storms overnight Tuesday dumped almost 5 inches of rain in parts of the county, broke and uprooted trees and washed out some roads.
A flash flood watch for most of eastern Oklahoma was in effect through tonight, according to the NWA Tulsa office.
A flash flood watch means rapidly rising water or flooding is possible and people in the area should be ready to act if they see flooding or a warning is issued.
The "Hooked on Fishin'" show with Mark Goines this weekend will broadcast a replay of this year's "Hooked on Fishin'" Kids Fishing Tournament.
The show will broadcast at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday on KXNW Channel 34. It will also air at noon Saturday on KFSM Channel 5.

The Wolf Pups Football sign-ups will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday inside the Heavener High School cafeteria.
The program is for third- through sixth-grade individuals.
Cost is $60 per player, and a copy of the player's birth certificate is required.
The fee will cover all equipment and insurance for each player.
Ben Dickerson Williamson, 80, of Smithville died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Smithville. Services will be held at Panther Creek Christian Church in Watson. Burial will be in Panther Creek Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
Steve â€śBubbaâ€ť Carter, 62, died July 24, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Services will be held at Community Bible Church of Fort Smith, 9201 S. Dallas St., at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Fort Smith.
Viewing will be at Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau until Sunday afternoon. Family visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Fentress Funeral Home, Fort Smith.Â
Martha Belle (Bramlett) Hardin of Oklahoma City died July 23, 2013. She was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Poteau to Ellis and Margie Belle Bramlett. Martha graduated from Poteau High School as tri-valedictorian in 1959 and Oklahoma State University with a degree in home economics education in 1962 and a masterâ€™s degree in clothing, textiles, and merchandising in 1968. She later earned an Early Childhood Certification at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Mary Arletta Hall, 89, of Albany, Ore, formerly of Panama, died Friday, July 19, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
