Football practice begins Monday!

August 10, 2013

The 2013 high school football season will not actually begin until the first week of September. However, the preparations for the LeFlore County teams' openers will begin next week — and in a new way.
For the first time, high school football practice will begin on a Monday, as opposed to the ordinary Tuesdays as it has been in years past.

Heat always an issue as football practice starts

August 10, 2013

Ever since the 2012 football seasons ended for LeFlore County's high school teams, next week probably seems like it wasn't going to get here. But it's here now.
High school football practice will begin next week, with most of the teams beginning practice on Monday — with a couple not going until the traditional Tuesday.
