The residents of the 700 block of Grace Street were alerted to a shed fire that quickly turned worse Wednesday afternoon.
The blaze is under investigation but neighbors claim they heard an explosion followed by flames. Two other homes were endangered by the flames and homeowners spent the afternoon watering down their roofs in hopes of saving their homes.
