Good times with friends, family

November 23, 2011

Happy Thanksgiving. Today’s column is going to be about being thankful. Last weekend was a great weekend, and not because I killed a big buck. It was a great weekend because my boys had a good time with their friends, and we all got to camp and visit with my dad and several of my uncles, cousins, and close friends. I am thankful for my family and friends.
We did not kill many deer. As a matter of fact, we didn’t even see that many deer, but we had a great time and ate better than most people do when they go out to eat. I am thankful that my dad is still able to be the camp cook.
