Empty seats reflect 'lost season' for OU despite routing Kansas at home; Perine has record day in Sooners' romp over Jayhawks

November 25, 2014

The announced crowd was 84,908 at Saturday's Kansas-Oklahoma game at Owen Field, but it was clear that was all paid, not actual number of bodies at the game.
Samje Perine was the story Saturday in OU's 44-7 win over KU. It wasn't the first time he had a big game. He was the highlight the previous week against Texas Tech and an early season win for the Sooners (8-3 overall, 5-3 in Big 12 play) against West Virginia, but it will go down as most memorable.
