It was another banner football season in LeFlore County

December 17, 2014

As I look back on the 2014 high school football season, I happen to think it was rather successful.
Of the eight teams, four made the playoffs — Poteau (Class 4A), Spiro (Class 3A), Panama (Class 2A) and Talihina (Class A).
Two of them, Panama and Talihina, got into the second round, with the Golden Tigers making another state semifinal appearance.
So, I just want to say congratulations to you four teams.
All-District Teams Needed
As you see, today’s edition has the All-District 4A-4 Team story, and I have the information for the All-District B-4 Team story for later this month.
