Carl Albert baseball team opens season this afternoon

February 3, 2015

The chilly temperatures don’t make it feel like baseball, but that’s exactly what will happen today for the Carl Albert State College Vikings, who will open their 2015 season at 1 p.m. in a road doubleheader against the University of the Ozarks junior varsity in Clarksville, Ark.
The Vikings were 19-30 last season, with four of those wins coming in forfeited wins over Western Oklahoma State College due to playing with ineligible players.
However, this year’s team already has CASC coach Mark Pollard excited.
