42nd Kiamichi All-Star Classic Rosters
Just like in the Civil War, the North beat the South. However, in the case of Tuesday night's 2014 LeFlore County Basketball Coaches Association's All-Star Games at Carl Albert State College's Mick Thompson Fieldhouse, it happened not once but twice.
The North All-Star Boys handled the South 70-42, right after the North Girls held off the South 48-43.
The Spiro Basketball Camp will take place later this month inside the Spiro Multipurpose Gym.
The elementary school camp will be from Tuesday through next Thursday and is open to students entering kindergarten through fifth grade next school year. The camp for kindergarten through second grade will take place from 9 to 11:30 a.m., while the camp for grades three through five will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per camper.

Carl Albert State College Lady Viking Minja Savic, a 6-4 post player from Jagodina, Serbia, has signed an NAIA letter of intent with Truett McConnell College, which is located in Cleveland, Ga. — which is a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
Savic is excited for the opportunity to play basketball for another two years.
“It means a lot,” Savic said. “I was sad when I tore my ACL. I didn't think that I would ever be able to play basketball again. I have a friend who plays for the Lady Bears, so I will be able to play with her again.”
