Poteau junior running back closing in on school record

November 11, 2014

I have kept statistics for the Poteau Pirates for 25 years now, and I have seen many great backs tote the ball for the Pirates. I've never seen a back as prolific as Roger Barcheers.
Mike Sullivan said David had to average 250 rushing yards per game. If my calculations are right, I would have David Rolle at 5,750 yards unofficially.
At the present time, here are the top 10 Rushers of the modern era:
1. Nik McDaniel 4,356
2. Roger Barcheers 4,342
3. Eric Warren. 4,019
4. Tim Branch 3,161
5. Jace Pitchford 1,850
6. Zane Johnson 1,446
7. Niles McDaniel 1,354
8. Shawn Carnahan 1,253
