FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — If the Arkansas Razorbacks were going to upset the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide Saturday afternoon at Franks Broyles Field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, one thing they couldn't afford to do was to get down early, which is exactly what the Hogs did. The Tide built a 24-0 halftime lead and never looked back rolling the Tyler Wilson-less Hogs 52-0.

Poteau wins football home opener over Tulsa Webster

“There were times in this game that everyone was pulling they weight, but sometimes we were pulling in different directions,” said Greg Werner, Poteau's new coach, after the Pirates pulled out a 21-0 home-opening victory the Tulsa Webster Warriors Friday night at Costner Stadium. “The Poteau Pirates are a band of brothers and we need to pick each other up when there is a misplay.
