April 15, 2014

I was hoping that the 2014 LeFlore County Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament would be as exciting as the baseball one was the week before. I got my wish.
Just like the baseball county tournament, the slow-pitch county tournament was forced to the if-game — and an if-game that had some drama as until the final out was made the game was still in doubt. We saw a new county queen crowned, the Heavener Lady Wolves, as they won the school's first-ever softball county title. However, they also suffered their first loss of the season, losing to Pocola in the first title game Thursday night.
