Jennifer came into my lab, and noticed all the OU memorabilia on the wall, and we started up a conversation.

On Nov. 20, I woke up to 40-degree weather, and I am ready to run 26.2 miles in the rolling hills of Tulsa. The wind was around 10 to 15 mph, but, compared to last year’s Tulsa Marathon, the weather was perfect.
Poteau High School history teacher Tom Brennan saw me at the starting line and said, "When I left Poteau, it was 65 degrees. (I'm) glad we are in Tulsa running in 40-degree weather today.”
