STIGLER â€” The Spiro Lady Bulldogs and the Talihina Lady Golden Tigers opened their 2012 fast-pitch softball season by posting victories in the Stigler Tournament â€” which was originally the Keota Tournament, but the Lady Lions gave it to the Lady Panthers.
The Lady Bulldogs blanked the Arkoma Lady Mustangs 12-0, while the Lady Golden Tigers got past the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets 6-2.

As I write this week's column, I am in Cody, Wyo., in a cabin after a great day of rafting down the Shoshone River and five hours of trout fishing in the same river. Cash and Koby had a good day fishing catching about 10 each, and enjoying a relaxing day without much driving.
