Didway signed with Carl Albert State College Monday morning inside Spiro High School Principal Kyle House's office.

Carl Albert was really the only place the Spiro graduate was looking to go.

For Poteau Pirates Wrestling Coach Chris Barbee, it's not about awards, it's about the athletes. However, for one moment, it is about him.
Barbee, who completed his second season with the Pirates, was named the Region 6 Wrestling Coach of the Year.
“It was very humbling,” Barbee said. “It was really kind of unexpected. Like I tell people, I didn't get into coaching to win awards. I got into coaching because I love the sport and I love to teach it to young kids. I was just fortunate enough to win the award, and I'm very humble.”
