OXNARD, Calif. (AP) — Tony Romo paused to add up how long it would take to coddle his surgically repaired back on the first day of training camp.

Romo isn't worried about getting hit. He thinks he can play several more years, even joking Thursday that he'll still be taking snaps when he's 45.

Hackler becomes new Poteau boys hoop coach

July 23, 2014

Last month, Poteau boys basketball coach Scott Nelke took advantage of a chance to go “home” as he took the Pocola Indians coaching job to be at his alma mater.
So, when the spot for Nelke’s spot opened up, Todd Hackler had a chance to do likewise — go “home.” And he will as he was hired this month to be Nelke’s replacement.
“I played here at Poteau,” said Hackler, who was on the 1996 LeFlore County champion Pirate team. “I played [Class] 4A basketball, and I always wanted to coach it. It’s stronger competition and tougher teams.”
