2013 high school football season will be one of the best

December 21, 2013

However, those two losses can't take away from the fact that 2013 will be one of the finest high school football seasons for LeFlore County.
First off, five of the eight schools made the football playoffs — Poteau (Class 4A), Spiro (Class 3A), Panama (Class 2A), Talihina (Class A) and Arkoma (Class C). Of those three, Poteau, Talihina and Arkoma posted opening-round wins. In fact, the Arkoma playoff-opening win over Timberlake was the first-ever postseason football win for the Mustangs in school history.
