2014 Junior High County Tournament starts Monday; Guide coming out Saturday; team photos, rosters needed by end of today

December 31, 2013

I wish you all a Happy New Year on Wednesday. With the coming of a new year means one thing for LeFlore County basketball fans — county tournaments.
The 2014 LeFlore County Junior High Tournament will begin Monday, with five total sites of action next week — host Arkoma along with Panama, Pocola, Spiro and Carl Albert State College's Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
The Junior High County Tournament Guide will come out in Saturday's edition, and will be printed on Thursday. Thus, I need all teams' photographs and NUMERIC rosters by the end of today so I can have them for the Guide.
Photos can be e-mailed to sports@poteaudailynews.com or ardmore06@yahoo.com. Rosters may be e-mailed to the same addresses or faxed to (918) 647-8198.
