4 Grove residents killed in 2 traffic crashes

GROVE, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four people from Grove were killed in two separate traffic crashes Tuesday night in northeastern Oklahoma.The highway patrol says the first crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 2 near Welch in Craig County. A preliminary report says 77-year-old Donald Charles Kelley and his wife, 76-year-old Nancy Kelley, died when their vehicle went off the road and overturned twice.Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.The second accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on a county road near Grove. The highway patrol says a pickup truck drove off the road and crashed into a tree. The crash killed a passenger, 23-year-old Kayla Hull, and a 2-year-old boy, Kane Hull. Authorities say no seat belts or child restraints were in use.
