Did you enjoy the Bowl Championship Series National Championship game? I saw the last part of the game, and what I saw was a team that was simiply outcoached and outplayed by another team.
One of the sports announcers made a comparison between Les Miles and Forrest Gump. The more I thought about it, that comparison made sense. How many times in the last five years alone did Les Miles make what seemed to be coaching blunders, and come out smelling like a rose?
Some of his play calls were simply hilarious and ridiculous. Yet, since he has the most superior group of college players in the United States he has come out on the winning end. This year at Tennessee, the very bad Volunteers forced the Tigers to miss a field goal on the last play of the game, but due to having 13 players on the field the Tigers got another shot and won the game. But my favorite was back when the LSU lost two of their final three games and some how fell into the BCS Championship at their second home, the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get. Run, Forrest run.

I hope every one gets a chance to attend the Leflore County Tournament this week, and make memories that will last you for a lifetime.
The county tournament will be held at a trio of sites — Bokoshe, Heavener, and Spiro.
Speaking of the County Tournament, here is your question of the week. What person that is in the Poteau Pirates team photograph this year holds a Leflore County backetball record that can never be beaten, only duplicated?
