Annie Lou Witt, 82, of Wister died
Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, in Wister. Annie
was born July 22, 1929, in Eufaula to Fred
and Ruby (Eskridge) Williams. She was a
restaurant cook. Annie was preceded in
death by her parents; son, Donald Adams;
daughter, Betty Adams; husband, Eschol
â€śHankâ€ť Witt; three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Darrell
J. and Ginger Adams of Wister; three daughters and sonsin-
law, Carolyn and Robert Gutierrez of Belton, Texas,
Reah and George Maynor of Wister, Linda and Garry
Skinner of Poteau; grandchildren, Kristy and Brad Hill of
Howe, Jerrod and Jeannie Adams of Wister, Kevin and
Becky Adams of Wister, Brian and Becky Maynor of
Choctaw, Chris and Dayla Adams of Wister, Dustin and
Heather Adams of Weatherford, Texas, Bruce and Leslie
Maynor of Wister, Amanda and John Goode of Humble,
Texas, Robert Gutierrez of Hurst, Texas, Bradley Adams
of Tahlequah; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers and
sisters-in-law, Lester and Nancy Williams of Newstrum,
Kan., Dean and Diane Williams of Heavener; one sister
and brother-in-aw, Ellen and Thomas Brown of Wister;
other relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at First
Baptist Church in Wister with The Revs. Keith Stewart
and Brad Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis
Chapel Cemetery, Wister. Pallbearers will be Jerrod
Adams, Kevin Adams, Brian Maynor, Chris Adams,
Dustin Adams, Bruce Maynor, Robert Gutierrez and
Bradley Adams (her grandsons).
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday to visit with relatives and friends.
