Area soldier promoted to Major

Air Force Maj. Trevor L. Williams has been promoted to the rank of major in the U.S. Air Force.
Williams is a C-17A pilot assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C.  The new major has served in the military for nine years. 
He is the son of Teresa Williams of Rock Island Road, Cameron, Okla. His wife, Brianna, is the daughter of Randy and Sherree Coulson of Independence Circle, Texarkana, Texas.
Williams graduated in 1999 from Cameron High, Okla., and received a bachelor of science in 2004 from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla. He also earned a master of arts in 2012 from Trident University International, Cypress, Calif.
