November 5, 2011

CLAREMORE — Although the Arkoma Mustangs had a slow start to Friday night's District C-4 and regular-season finale against Claremore Christian, they ended up winning by mercy rule.
The Mustangs routed Claremore Christian 60-12 in the third quarter. Arkoma (9-1, 6-1 in district play) will entertain the third-place team from District C-3, Covington-Douglas (the only team to defeat District C-4 champion Webbers Falls this season) at 7:30 p.m. next Friday at Mustang Field.
