Arkoma football team to get tested in tonight's scrimmage

August 25, 2011

There's nothing like getting battle tested to get yourself ready for war. The Arkoma Mustangs football team will get just that tonight.
The Mustangs will be in a four-way scrimmage beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight in Broken Arrow against host Summit Christian, Dewar and Welch.
“We're going to get tested,” Arkoma Coach Mark Weatherton said. “Dewar is in the top 10 in Class B. Welch is knocking on the door of being in the top 10. Summit Christian was a good team last year. They're all pretty good Class B teams, so we're going to get tested Thursday night. I'm excited to get up there and see what happens.”
