Arkoma girls anxious for 'The Big House'; Lady Mustangs play Frontier Thursday night in Class A State Tournament quarterfinals

ARKOMA — For several members of the Arkoma Lady Mustangs basketball team, what they are about to do tonight has been a lifelong aspiration for them — get to play at “The Big House,” Oklahoma City's State Fair Arena. The Lady Mustangs will get that chance Thursday night when they meet Frontier in the Class A State Tourament quarterfinals at 8:30 p.m.
The Lady Mustangs got there with a 65-51 victory over the Kiowa Cowgirls in the Class A Area Tournament consolation finals Saturday night at Southeastern Oklahoma State University's Bloomer Sullivan Fieldhouse in Durant.
