Arkoma girls beat Oaks, but lose to Welch, Oaks in district tournament; Lady Mustang homers three times on the day

OAKS — The Arkoma Lady Mustangs went 1-2 in Thursday's Class 2A District Tournament, but it was not enough to keep their season alive.
After Arkoma beat host Oaks 10-8, the Lady Mustangs lost 15-6 to Welch and 9-2 to Oaks to see their season end at 3-8.
One bright spot on the day for the Lady Mustangs was Julia Anderson, who hit three home runs.
