Arkoma receiver named Offensive Player of the Year in District C-4; several Mustangs honored by district

The Arkoma Mustangs made football history this season, winning its first-ever playoff game and making it to the Class C state quarterfinals. They also came in District C-4 runners-up, so several Mustangs were honored by the district.
Arkoma wide receiver Tanner Sweeten was named the District C-4 Offensive Player of the Year.
Ethann Gates was the Quarterback of the Year, Tyler Dailey was the Offensive Lineman of the Year, Tyree Nolden was the Linebacker of the Year and Dakotah Roam was the Utility Player of the Year.
Three other players made the second team all-district. Landin Duzan was second team as a tight end, while Aaron Parsons and Josh Marion made the second team all-district as defensive ends.
