WILBURTON — A pair of LeFlore County basketball schools, Arkoma and Whitesboro, met each other on the hardwood Wednesday in the Eastern Oklahoma State College Classic at EOSC's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse. It was an Arkoma sweep.
The Mustangs edged the Bulldogs 48-45 and the Lady Mustangs were too much for the Lady Bulldogs in a 53-31 victory in championship semifinals in the Blue Bracket.
However, due to the inclement weather conditions the rest of this week, the rest of the EOSC Classic — including Thursday's games in Gold Bracket action involving the Howe and Leflore teams — has been canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
