Arlene Annett Davidson

Arlene Annett Davidson, 71, of Poteau died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, in Poteau. She was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Shamrock, Texas, to George William and Leona (Henry) Barrett. 
Arlene was a retired registered nurse, having served as nursing supervisor for Health South in Fort Smith, Ark. She also was the director of  Emergency Medical Services at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center in Poteau. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley “Buck” Davidson, and her parents.
Arlene is survived by her son, J.W. Lovelace of Poteau; sister, Clara Moore of Panama; brother, Luther DeWeese of Dallas; stepdaughters, Karen Pennington of Hackett, Ark., and Deborah Baxter of Edmond; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and loved ones. 
Memorial services are pending. The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Cancer Research or American Red Cross.
