Betty L. Wade

Betty L. Wade, 75, of Shady Point died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Betty was born March 6, 1937, in Booneville, Ark., to Robert Matthew and Addie Alice (Beshears) Anderson. She was a petroleum landman — oil and gas lease. Betty was a member of the First Assembly of God in Wister. She was secretary for the Oasis International Ministries for 11 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C.B. Wade; and sister, Liz Heavener. 
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Tammie and Luke Herrington of Wister, Linda and Rick Turner of Alma, Ark.; four grandsons, Matthew, Taylor, Brady and Blaine; granddaughter, Michele and husband James Parker of Shady Point; great-granddaughters, Addison and Emmalyn; brother, Bob Anderson of Owasso; sister, Merle Smith of Shady Point.; very special friend, Barbra Mattox; other relatives and loved ones. 
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Poteau First Assembly of God with the Rev. Roger Mattox officiating. Burial will be in Shady Point Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Turner, Matthew White, James Parker, Luke Herrington, Roger Dale Mattox and Rodney Mattox. Honorary pallbearers will be James White, Jeff Mattox and the men of Wister Assembly of God.
