Bingley and the Browns scheduled for court today

November 29, 2011

A man charged with child sexual abuse and a grandfather and grandson charged with manslaughter are scheduled to appear in LeFlore County District Court today.

Jeffery Dale Bingley, who was charged with child sexual abuse and possession of child pornography in January 2010, is scheduled to appear in district court this afternoon on a motion to suppress filed by Defense Attorney Gary Buckles.
On the heals of the motion, Buckles also filed a second motion to require the state, represented by Assistant District Attorney Margaret Nicholson, to further analyze evidence in the case against his client.
Bingley is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 for the motion to suppress.
A sixteen-year-old charged with first degree manslaughter is scheduled to appear in court at 2 p.m. to determine if he will be tried as a juvenile.
Brandon Ervin Brown, 16, was charged with first degree manslaughter in the August 2011 death of 13-year-old Dalton Adams. Brown was the alleged intoxicated driver during the fatality accident.
Elmer Otis Brown, Brandon's grandfather, was subsequently charged with second degree manslaughter and furnishing beer to minors after investigators alleged he provided his grandson with alcohol and a vehicle.
Elmer Brown is scheduled to appear at 2 p.m. for a preliminary hearing.
