A UK charity is calling for immediate action to avert a major food crisis in East Africa and prevent people starving. In Ethiopia and other East African countries millions are struggling to cope with drought and rocketing food prices. Oxfam estimates nine to 13 million people are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. It wants money to bolster emergency work across the region. |
