Nearly 10,000 people are queueing outside an Olympics tickets booth in Beijing to try and buy the last batch of Games tickets. They started queueing on Wednesday afternoon - two days before the tickets were due to go on sale. Nearly 10,000 residents flocked to the ticket booth next to the Olympics Centre, some setting up camp or huddling under umbrellas in temperatures of over 35 degrees Celsius. Beijing will put its last tranche of 820,000 Olympics tickets on sale for three days at booths scattered around Olympics venues from Friday. |
