Bobbie Jean (Abernathy) Bell, 52, of
Bokoshe died Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, in
Fort Smith, Ark.
Bobbie was born Dec. 20, 1958, in
Poteau to Jim Bob and Janice Laverne
(Richardson) Abernathy Jr. Bobbie worked
for the LeFlore County Assessor for 14
years.
Survivors include her husband, Mike of the home;
daughters and sons-in-law, Misty and Joe Walker of
Bokoshe, Britney and Jansen Hambright of Spiro; son and
daughter-in-law, Michael and Brittany Bell of Cameron;
five grandsons, Hayden Bell, Trenton Massey, Cameron
Massey, Coby Bell and Tanner Hambright; her parents,
Jim Bob and Janice Abernathy of Bokoshe; one sister and
brother-in-law, Trina and Rick Ward of Cameron; brother
and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Celia Abernathy of Bokoshe;
other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at
Calvary Assembly of God, Poteau, with The Rev. Lynn
Bullard and Doug Nixon officiating. Burial will be in Old
Bokoshe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wes Bell, Wayne
Bell, Zack Bell, Rick Hall, Doyal Aary, and L.C. Culwell.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
The family will be at the funeral home Thursday from
6-8 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
